Caitlin Reid - Dietician and Exercise Physiologist
Caitlin Reid, 27, was born and raised in Geelong, Victoria and works as a dietitian corporate wellness/lifestyle management consultant. She has just launched her first book, Health & The City - the hectic urbanite's lifestyle guide - published by Longueville Media which she aims to develop into her own corporate health program. Caitlin is an Accredited Practising Dietitian (APD) and Accredited Exercise Physiologist (AEP) and has a private practice at Balmain Sports Physio, Sydney where she consults on weight loss, lifestyle management and sports nutrition and is the official sports dietitian for the South Sydney Rabbitohs football team. Following her degree in Nutrition and Dietetics and Health Science at Deakin University, Victoria, Caitlin worked as a personal trainer before moving to Sydney to work as a nutritionist. She spent two years working at Sanitarium Health Food Company in marketing, specialising in the communication of technical aspects of Sanitarium's products before setting up her own practice. She consults to the Australian Healthy Food Guide magazine, Ninemsn's Map My Fitness website, IMP, Nuts for Life, Beyond the Square Communications, Peak Health Management and Good Health Solutions. Her areas of expertise are in team nutrition, corporate health and weight and lifestyle management. Caitlin is a keen sportswoman and loves AFL, supporting Geelong (though as a Sydneysider she now also supports the Swans) and was an avid Melbourne Storm supporter prior to working for the Rabbitohs! She loves all sports and plays Oz tag and netball. Caitlin lives in Russell Lea in Sydney's Inner west.
