Warm Down - Static Stretches

Static Stretching refers to grdual stretching to the farthest comfortable point and holding the stretch for at least ten seconds.  If you feel any pain in your muscles whilst doing this kind of stretch, ease off. 

This type of stretching is great to use to cool down after vigorous activity, for the early stages of recovery from an injury or for just generally stretching your muscles.
